Day 102:

Oct 10-Sculpham Sonnet, abccba abccba dd, by Peter Scupham.
The poet Peter Sculpham writes this way
To make a sonnet, stanzas made just right
First, abccba starting it
Repeat the stanza, try to make it fit.
While some may say tis not a true one, fight
Against those sonnet makers, I say NAY!

A Sculpham Sonnet tis one like some say
Iambic pentameter fits so tight
The phrases filled enraptured lines so writ
But critics wish all to follow Brit
The Bard himself, they claim has truer sight
So write his way, to keep the mob at bay.

A Sculpham closes with dd, you see
A Sculpham Sonnet strives to make one free!
