So now what is this thing that is called Art?

And what is different, this medium?
Creative master, we call the Artist.
So different than sound, art is color.
What other Art is there besides painting?
Besides painting the Artist does sculpture.
 

But Art is more than making a sculpture.

The subtle visuals are also Art,
From watercolor to the oil painting.
A chainsaw can be used as medium.
There is a world that is full of color.
An infinite palette for the Artist.

So what can be made by the Artist?
The product can be a marble sculpture,
Or a drawing with black as the color.
A masterpiece made of ice is called Art.
It matters not what is the medium,
A portrait, or nature in a painting.
 

But Art can be more than just a painting.

Whatever calls the eyes of the Artist.
A junkyard is a useful medium
To make a post-modern type of sculpture.
Yes, truly there’s variety in Art.
A splash of nature’s wonderful color.
 

Oh, just look around you at the color

And take a photo or make a painting
And see nature or man-made things as Art.
Imagination spills out the Artist
To carve from a block of stone a sculpture,
Perhaps wood, whatever the medium.

Of wood or ice or Art the medium.

Of tint or hue, no matter the color
In making a bust or a huge sculpture.
Then choose abstract or not in a painting,
Whatever the medium, it is Art.
 

So go make a sculpture or a painting

In black or color, you are the Artist.
The chosen medium turns into Art.
